US Vice President JD Vance is taking his holiday in the UK, a trip which will include visits to the Cotswolds, Scotland and a few days staying with Foreign Secretary David Lammy at Chevening House in Kent. Vance and Lammy appear to be friends despite their differences, with Vance speaking warmly of their relationship and Lammy describing him as a friend. The two men have bonded over their Christian faith and have met regularly, including at the new Pope’s inauguration in May. Vance has also met with other UK politicians, including Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch, and may meet with Reform UK’s Nigel Farage. In between meetings, Vance will be visiting the Cotswolds, an area popular with wealthy Americans.
