UK rapper Digga D told a court he has been using cannabis since the age of 12 to help with his frequent migraines. The drill star, whose real name is Rhys Herbert, admitted importing 3kg (6.6lbs) of the Class B drug after he was arrested near Lincoln in the early hours of 21 February while broadcasting on Instagram Live. He pleaded guilty in May to a charge of smuggling cannabis relating to 11 July 2023, and supplying cannabis between 26 October 2022 and 21 February 2024. However, during a trial of the issue, known as a Newton Hearing, at Lincoln Crown Court, the 24-year-old denied importing up to 60kg (132lbs) of cannabis for commercial sale.
