Grealish has not been selected in either of Tuchel’s two squads since his appointment in January.
The on-loan Manchester City winger was a peripheral figure under Pep Guardiola last season and his lack of action was a key factor in his England omissions.
But in front of Barry, the 29-year-old produced a promising display in what was his first Everton start – supplying the assist for Iliman Ndiaye’s opener in the Toffees’ 2-0 win in the club’s first game in their new stadium.
It remains to be seen whether Grealish’s three appearances so far this season are enough to earn him an international recall, but Barry’s attendance indicates he is back on England’s radar.
Meanwhile, Tuchel has injury concerns before naming his squad with central defender Levi Colwill out through injury alongside Bellingham, while Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer are also big doubts.
