Workers are feared trapped following the collapse of a high-rise building under construction in Thailand’s capital. A 7.7 magnitude quake struck in neighbouring Myanmar on Friday at a depth of 10km, followed by a strong aftershock, according to the US Geological Survey. Workers can be seen fleeing the scene in the Chatuchak neighbourhood. Elsewhere in the city, crowds rushed onto the streets in panic as buildings swayed and water cascaded over from rooftop pools.
