Trevor Galko and Keri Ann Meslar were married in Guatemala on March 21, 2025.
They first met in 2006 in Washington, D.C., through a Craigslist ad for a roommate, and got back together 10 years later after a long-distance relationship.
The couple broke up in 2009, but got back together in 2019, six months after rekindling their romance over text messages.
Trevor proposed to Keri during a trip to Wales in 2024, and they got married in a small ceremony in Washington, D.C. before a larger celebration in Guatemala.
The wedding celebration in Guatemala included a surprise fireworks display and a weekend of festivities at a local brewery and a roof-top bar and restaurant.
The couple had 150 guests for the wedding celebration and had been planning the ceremony and celebration in Guatemala for a year.
Keri said the entire experience was worth the wait and that she and Trevor were happy to have found each other again.
