The screams startled everyone on the field – and everyone in the stands. It wasn’t yet 9 in the morning and Nick Sirianni was livid. This was back in July 2019, midway through one of those early training camp practices that never seem to end. The sun was stifling, the crowd quiet, and Sirianni, then the Indianapolis Colts’ offensive coordinator, was steaming. His players looked tired and unprepared. Someone whiffed on a block. Someone dropped a pass. Someone ran the wrong route. Finally, Sirianni halted the practice. “ENOUGH!” he shouted. “YOU NEED TO STUDY YOUR SH—!” Heads turned. Eyes shot up.
